	Sow and Plant
	Plant a fresh root from early to late spring.

	Harvesting
	As soon as you see new shoots coming up to the side of the main plant, start harvesting young rhizomes. In autumn, dig up the whole pant, harvest the bulk of the rhizomes and save a few for replanting.
